Slow Cooker Chiavetta’s Pulled Pork

If you thought Chiavetta’s BBQ Marinade was just for the grill, think again. This slow cooker pulled pork recipe brings all the bold, tangy flavor of our classic marinade into an easy, set-it-and-forget-it meal. Perfect for busy weeknights, game day spreads, or feeding a crowd.

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 3–4 lb pork shoulder (boneless or bone-in)

  • 1½ cups Chiavetta’s BBQ Marinade

  • 1 small onion, sliced (optional)

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ cup water or broth (optional, for extra moisture)

  • Buns, slaw, or your favorite sides for serving

🔥 Instructions:

1. Prep the Pork
Trim excess fat from your pork shoulder if needed. Rub with black pepper and garlic powder.

2. Add to Slow Cooker
Place the pork in the slow cooker. Pour Chiavetta’s BBQ Marinade over the top. Add sliced onions if using. For extra juiciness, splash in ½ cup of water or broth.

3. Cook Low and Slow
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours until the pork is fall-apart tender.

4. Shred and Soak
Remove pork, shred with two forks, and discard any big fatty pieces. Return shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir it into the juices. Let it soak on warm for 20–30 mins before serving.

5. Serve It Up
Pile onto buns with slaw, serve over rice, or stuff into wraps or tacos. However you plate it, it’s packed with that Chiavetta’s flavor WNY knows and loves.

🧊 Leftovers?
