Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Kitchen Lead to join our team at our Brant location in Southern Erie County. This role is key to keeping kitchen operations running efficiently while maintaining high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and organization. You’ll work closely with the Kitchen Manager, help lead the team day-to-day, and play a big part in delivering a great food experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Kitchen Manager with daily operations, including order receiving, product rotation (FIFO), and equipment safety.
Develop and organize daily plans and ensure kitchen products are ready for the next day.
Oversee and execute daily food preparation, cooking, and packaging.
Manage catering orders, ensuring all meet company standards.
Assign tasks to staff and ensure timely completion of prep lists.
Communicate effectively with other leads and teams, including takeout and smoking crews.
Maintain and uphold safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in a kitchen setting, with sound knowledge of food standards and procedures.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team.
High standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Physical stamina to handle standing and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
Willingness to work occasional irregular or extended hours.
